Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care to a diverse population. This role involves conducting client intake assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions. The therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough client intake assessments to identify mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling services in settings which include telehealth and private practice offices.
- Deliver client care across different age groups
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), in the state of Ohio.
- Strong background in client assessment and ongoing care, with experience in trauma-informed therapy/care.
- Experience working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
- Counseling children or adolescents is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in counseling practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
