Alert: Scam Targeting PPP Loan Recipients

Several community banks in our region have reported an uptick in a fraud scheme targeting business customers—especially those who received PPP loans. Scammers are posing as bank representatives, using spoofed caller ID, and tricking business account signers into screen sharing during online banking sessions. This has led to unauthorized transactions and compromised account access.
